APIS: A Pollinator
Information Station

APIS (short for A Pollinator Information Station and Latin for bee) was created in order to spread positivity and pollination throughout an underdeveloped neighborhood in Philadelphia. It is a traveling podcast that shares good news, helpful resources and stories from community members. We partner with local entities to provide pollinator products such as produce, plants, gardening tools and other related resources. The idea was inspired by the negative stigma created around Kingsessing, Philadelphia by the media as well as the opportunities for increased green spaces.

This is a conceptual project created in collaboration with Graphic Designers Tessa Peña and Jee Gay and Landscape Architect Jake Tanis.
